    This is an excellent opportunity too join a small, dynamic IT firm based in Dublin city centre. The candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, make decisions on own initiative and work to tight deadlines.

    Job role:

    Long term opportunity for an experienced web & database developer with primary focus on the following:

    • Develop bespoke databases using FileMaker (www.filemaker.com)
    • Develop web front end applications for bespoke products
    • Maintain and support existing clients and products

    Requirements:

    • B.Sc. Degree or equivalent work experience (May suit Graduate)
    • Strong understanding of relational database design and development
    • Experience with PHP, Ajax / JavaScript, SQL, XML / XSL, HTML, CSS
    • Experience designing websites and search engine optimisation
    • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills

    Desirable:

    • Experience with Mac OSX platform a plus
    • Experience with FileMaker software a plus
    • Basic Systems Administration skills

• Major New DTEMS Release
  • Dale Technology is pleased to announce that a major new release of DTEM’s (v2.5) will be launched this Summer. This release enhances the web functionality to the system and particularly enhances the teachers on-line facilities.

• New DTEMS Release
  • A new update of DTEMS has now been released to clients. The release was rolled out to clients during the Easter holidays. The new release includes added functionality for managing Canteen Menus which can be included on newsletters. In addition functionality has also been added to SMS groups of students directly from DTEMS.

• Remote Assistance/Support
  • Further to a successful trial of the WebEx technology and positive feedback from our clients, Dale Technology has decided to employ it for all clients going forward. This software allows us to give full support to our clients without the implementation of VPN's, etc. A client can get remote assistance within moments by going to our dedicated support website. This technology allows us to view or control the Clients computer screen,  share their own computer screen or give on-line presentations/training.
